This service is for bikes purchased and delivered partially assembled in the manufacturer’s box. The mechanic will complete the assembly and perform a full safety check to ensure it is road-ready.
- Careful unpacking and inventory of all components. Initial inspection of the frame and fork for any transit damage.
- Fitting of the remaining components.
- Safety Critical Setup: This includes:
- Full adjustment, alignment of calliper/pads, checking lever feel, and tightening/alignment of disc rotors (if applicable).
- Indexing and adjustment of front and rear derailleurs to ensure smooth, clean shifting across the full range.
- All bolts and fasteners are checked and tightened.
- Inflating tyres to correct pressure and a basic check for wheel true.
- Check for correct factory fitting, adjustment, and tightness of the headset/bottom bracket.
