At Town Bikes, we strive to provide our customers with high-quality second-hand bikes. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, so we have a fair return policy in place.

Within 14 Days of Purchase:

  • You have the right to reject the bike for a full refund if it is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose at the time of purchase. This applies even if the fault wasn’t apparent during the initial inspection.
  • To exercise this right, please contact us as soon as possible and return the bike to the shop in the same condition you received it, with the original receipt.
  • Excluded from the refund are any new accessories/parts purchased with the bike or any customization done to the bike as per customer request.

Within 30 Days of Purchase:

  • If you discover a fault with the bike, we will offer you a repair or replacement, at our discretion, within a reasonable timeframe. This applies for up to one month from the date of purchase.
  • If the fault is major and cannot be repaired effectively, or if we are unable to provide a suitable replacement, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.
  • After one month, the burden of proof shifts. You will need to demonstrate that the fault was present at the time of purchase to be eligible for a refund or replacement.

Important Exceptions:

  • This policy does not apply to faults caused by wear and tear, misuse, or neglect after purchase.
  • We cannot accept returns for bikes purchased knowingly “as seen” with pre-disclosed faults.
